I am slightly amused that no one has brought quantum computers
into this legal quest.

If the court really wanted into encrypted data it makes sense
to see if others might be compelled to this end as well.
Companies like D-Wave, QxBranch, Rigetti Computing, IBM

Published literature is always a year or more behind.
