It is maybe most interesting that you quote a measurably prediction from the paper which, with hindsight, is objectively 
false. Indeed, Bitcoin's energy use is incredibly high, but that is not the end of the discussion. Not only have 
predictions (like the above) not come to pass, but the move towards green energy is much faster in the Bitcoin mining 
space than in the general electricity generation space.
