[Cryptography] In memoriam: James Ellis

We lost James Ellis, cryptographer, on this day in 1997.  He actually invented 
public-key crypto at GCHQ, but at the time it was all hush-hush, and so could 
not announce it; as a result Messrs Diffie and Hellman innocuously took the 
credit.  Trivia: he was conceived in Britain and born in Australia.
