A little off topic yes, though directly relevant to the statement I replied to. Now I can bring in the whole intrinsic aspect and how none of that has actual value unless a human perceives it and therefore it does indeed reduce to the resources and labor involved in extraction and refinement. Just in case there is a value though that can't be reduced to time that is entirely possible because that's actually something you brought in to this. I was speaking specifically on dollars if you look back. It was actually you who mentioned that proxy of "Value" right? Just wanted to clarify.
I stand behind my dollar statement 100% though
