I don’t recall the details; some of it was because of the forthcoming RFC that says TLS 1.2 is frozen except for security fixes[1]. (Ironically, I am the co-author of that.) The second was something about the use of ECDH [2]. You can (sic) troll through the whole archives easily[3].
