Sounds like a technical argument to me. But, maybe, how do we define 
"technical" here?

Or would you prefer, has ML-KEM had as much study as {something else 
which has been given a pass}? Is that a technical argument - it must be 
technical, the quantity of scrutiny is measured (or estimated) and compared.

Or is Schneier's law a technical argument? Lots and lots of scrutiny is 
good - but how much?

We should maybe also consider the quality of scrutiny...

And then the relevance of whether an argument is "technical" or not.
