[Cryptography] Quantum Bitcoin (Q-BTC) mainnet update: 10, 000 blocks with ML-DSA-65 signatures

Hi list,

Back in May, I posted a thread here about integrating NIST's ML-DSA-65 directly into a Nakamoto consensus chain to fix the quantum RBF front-running window.

Just wanted to share a quick update with some actual field data. The Q-BTC layer-1 network just crossed block height 10,000 yesterday. It's been running entirely on wild CPU hash rate.

Honestly, my biggest concern was how the ~3.3 KB lattice signatures would impact the network under real conditions. So far, the PQ-SegWit architecture is holding up. We isolated the witness data down at the RocksDB level, and I haven't seen any fatal memory spikes during mempool syncs on standard consumer hardware.

Also, despite some pretty chaotic hash rate swings, the 128-bit ASERTi3-2d algorithm has kept the chain stable without stalling.

The network is alive and surviving, but I'm sure it's not bulletproof. If anyone here has some free time to poke holes in the consensus logic, or wants to try breaking the mempool by spamming oversized lattice signatures, please do. I'd really appreciate a brutal stress test from this group.
