Dear list members,

I am sharing a theoretical framework titled "The Language Funnel Hypothesis," which proposes a non-linear dynamical model to quantify the stability-plasticity tradeoff in learning systems.

The model introduces a physical criterion for information consolidation. By defining a threshold theta and a variance penalty sigma^2, we can mathematically predict the rate of "crystallization" vs. "fluid loss" of representations. I believe this perspective is particularly relevant to preventing Catastrophic Forgetting in both biological and artificial neural architectures, with broader implications for AGI stability and long-term system security.

I would appreciate any technical feedback or rigorous critique from this community, especially regarding the information-theoretic foundations of the model.
