[Cryptography] Liberty Safe reveals that it has backdoor access to it's physical safes and provides access to law enforcement.

Ah, the age old battle between security and convenience. The person in
question could have changed the locks and removed the outside serial
number, then again the lock probably has a master code as well.

But against who was the safe intended? FBI? They would get in anyway, a
phone call was the least destructive one. A locksmith? They'll get in, they
would start with the same phone call. His greedy family after he suddenly
died? They'll get in.
A random burglar? A child? I guess the safe works against them so mission
accomplished.

What bothers me most about the electronic locks is that they don't trust
themselves. If the fingerprint scanner doesn't work you can still type in
your code and if that doesn't work there is this cheap ass tumbler lock
behind this obvious panel.
