I must admit the cynic within me wonders if there is anything 
that is "secure".

Now I'm still OK with "secure enough" which means to me that the 
costs of breaking it are higher than the rewards, under all 
circumstances. (If someone hates you enough, then they may be 
willing to spend much more than what a pure economic analysis 
shows is the value of the reward.)

It's a shame that so little in our computer ecosystem meets this 
definition of "secure enough".
