I agree that reliability / cost / lack of incentive for hosting other
peoples data will not arrive at a sustainable equilibrium.

That is why in my project (https://noteworthy.tech) we are focused on
enabling collaborative infrastructure based on external incentives such as
trust, friendship and economics.
