Correction/Clarification. Libsodium has plenty of NIST algorithms, but 
the defaults are all NIST free, and the recommendation is to use the 
defaults.

If one puts a cup of wine in a barrel of sewage, one has a barrel of sewage.

And if one puts a cup of sewage in a barrel of wine, one still has a 
barrel of sewage.
