This has implications in the world of search and seizure by law enforcement
as well as company assets.
An open wallet  could be used to transfer all the bit coins to another
wallet.
The other wallet could be one for which the key has been lost (on purpose).
The target public key would be deleted from the wallet.

A spiteful employee, spouse, child or officials with an agenda could do
damage without
leaving evidence as best I can tell.

Spite is a great motivator...
