[Cryptography] Yahoo is sued for gross negligence over huge hacking

The surprises for me with the Yahoo breach
- The email from "Yahoo" saying "your account may have been compromised" 
wasn't phishing, unlike most such mail.
- The spam filter caught the message anyway.
- I had a Yahoo account with my actual name on it that I'd forgotten 
about, as opposed to just the random john-doe accounts I use for 
subscribing to newspapers, equipment vendors, and other websites I don't 
actually want to get email from.
