No, the answer seems to be if you want IMAP you know where to find it.
All of the major webmail providers offer IMAP.  Most of them even work.

All the encrypted webmail know of is in javascript with all of its
issues.  I don't see any reason you couldn't do a PPAPI plugin if
you could get the webmail websites to agree on a media type that
would launch the plugin.
