Bitcoin in its current form isn't much of a dream for crypto anarchists, since traceability is built in and it takes a lot of effort to avoid it.  Zerocoin or some other replacement would fit better.  

More generally, I think one of Ian's
points can be made more succinctly:  the claim that all governments are corrupt and evil is an easier sell in Venezuela than it is in Switzerland.
