Ø  What does Windows use for its SSL implementation?


Their own ssl/tls implementation that leverages various other facilities (such as CryptoAPI); it’s called schannel.

I met one of the devs at the recent TLS WG meeting. He said folks around him were … bemused … by MSFT’s contributions to the critical internet infrastructure project, which identified OpenSSL as one of its first “targets.”
