[Cryptography] What is going on with TrueCrypt?

Who's gonna use a FDE program that was "stolen"? Who would trust someone with such a demonstrated lack of ethics? I would hope the security community would be as up in arms over this, as they would be over NSA attempts to subvert the standards process.
