It's a (formerly) good product badly sold.  DriveCrypt used to be the open- 
source ScramDisk until it was taken over by a commercial operator whose 
handling of the product since then has been a bit erratic (see endless threads 
in alt.security.scramdisk from a couple of years ago for details).
